Hello my name is Sarah, I am 27 years old.. Here is my story.. My fiance(44) and I recently accquired custody of his two grandchildren a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl.. Due to a CPS call on their mother for neglect and abuse. last year in september the children were placed in our care. It was a big shock, but we more than welcomed them into our home.. We are now living in West Seattle in a 2 bedroom home, but at the time we were not prepared for it.. We make sure the children have food and clothes and give them plenty of love and attention... My fiances hours had been cut from work, and I recently got laid off from my job as a nursing assistant.. We also were just informed that our landlord wants to sell so we have to be out of our home by january 30th, which is right around the corner.. We have no extra money to purchase anything for christmas, I know they are only children and probably dont understand anyways, but I would love for them to have a wonderful christmas just like I did when I was a kid.. Thanks so much to anybody who is willing to help... Sarah
My daughter and her 14 yr old special needs son just left an abusive situation. I am able to provide them a place to stay, clean clothes and food, however Christmas for Brett is out of the question, as I am on a fixed income.
I know he is over your age limit, but hope you can direct me if you cannot help. Brett is autistic, home schooled, and is having a very rough time right now. I would like to make his Christmas a little happier.
Hi my name is Michelle. I am 42 years old and I'm in the process of going through a divorce. I've been separated from my husband since January. I have 3 teenagers at home with me-Stephanie-19, Nicholas-16 and Tyler-15. My daughter had a baby in August and her name is Brayleigh. My story is probably not much different than most. In the past year my 2 sons have ened up on probation due to the poor judgement on my part to think it was ok for them to hang out with their dad sometimes. One of my sons is on house arrest which costs 10.00 daily and I can't seem to find a job since I live in a small town. The only income I have is the social security I receive for my 2 sons which is 780.00 monthly. I am so grateful that we are all healthy and together but at the same time the mother in me feels heartbroke because I can't provide much of a christmas for my kids or my new grand-daughter. Alot of mistakes have been made in the last year from my 2 sons and even though they are responsible for their own actions, you would have to know the whole story that lead up to these actions. It has been a very hard time for my kids since my husband and I have been separated because of what they've had to see from their dad. My kids are so grateful for anything and they are easily pleased so if anyone feels led to help us out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Let God lead you in your decision and you will never go wrong.

I work full time and go to school full time, I live paycheck to paycheck, and rob peter to pay paul!
I have three girls ages 16, 13, 12, and two boys 9 and 3. If someone can help me provide a christmas I would be so grateful! Thanks and God Bless
Hi , my name is Ginger and I am hoping for a Christmas miracle this year. I am a 30 year old woman, I live with my Fiance and his 5 year old son. I love our family and I do my best to work as hard as I can at my full time job to support our family, pay bills, keep a roof over our heads and food in our mouths. My finace is a Veteran and is currently out of work do to a relapse of Post Trumatic Stress that he had back in February. He has been out of work since then, unemployment is fighting him on benefits cause they are investigating whether or not he was wrongfully terminated from his job and the VA says that all his papers are in the process, whatever that mean cause they have been in the process for almost a year! My fiance was unable to work while under a doctors care but is recovering from his relapse wuite well and is hoping to be back to work the beginning of the year. I have done the best I can but in this economy I just cant keep up. His child support had backed up and I scraped to take care of that the best I could, we have $1.65 in our bank account and we do our weekly grocery shopping at my moms house after she has shopped all the deals around town. I can not afford my car so my mom has taken it over so I dont have to have it reposessed, and now we get to Christmas. I have an amazing stepson and I want to give him some of the things he has asked for, he is a simple child, he wants new slippers, new sunglasses, a transformer and a new tent. What a great kid we have, my problem is that I can not afford to get any of these things! Where can I find help!?
I am a single mother of 4 beautiful little girls they are 6,4,3 and my youngest will be 2 on December 12th. We live in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am going to school full time to better our future, and unable to work due to the child care expenses. I go month to month wondering if we will have a place to live, so far we have been able to keep our home. For that I am grateful. Things use to be great. i thought I had the perfect life. A husband and 4 little girls. Then life became a roller coaster ride when my ex husband went to jail and due to the circumstances I filed for divorce. I did not ask to be a single mom. It just happened. I am not asking for pity, just a little help this Christmas. If I was able to put one gift under the tree I would be thrilled. I am not asking for much. I just don't want them to wake up on Christmas morning thinking that Santa forgot about them too. God bless you and Happy Holidays!
I am a single mother in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have five small kids. There are 2 girls 3 and 6, 3 boys 8,10, and 12. I just recently lost my job 2 months ago and I have absolutely no idea how I am going to supply Christmas for my kids. I have prayed over and over again and I will continue to pray that someone finds it in their hearts to help give them a nice Christmas. Thank you
I don't know where to start, but I will start with the obvious, my husband is currently unemployed, he worked at a manufacturing company for a while and then they laid him off, he then started working for a lawn care company and now they have also let him go due to no work. He also suffers from Tourette's Syndrome and it just seems like once a business becomes aware of this, they let him go. I am currently not working due to my health, I am in remission for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and I have had 2 stokes in the last 2 years. I am trying to get healthy again because I want to go to work. We both are currently in college trying to get a degree, we are scheduled to graduate next year.
Any enjoyment we once had has since been cut out from our lives. Cell phones are gone, gas and electric, home phone and internet are not to far behind as well. There is no extras in our lives and unfortunately, our kids are suffering. On top of that, 2 of our children are having some serious health issues as well as suffering from Tourette's Syndrome and I just want to give them a nice holiday. I am not talking about expensive game systems or anything, just something nice to give them back a little bit of the joy we have taken from them. If ANYONE could please help, PLEASE get with me. I can provide proof that we have no income and show disconnects on everything to prove that as well. This is an honest, heart-felt request for help. I have put my faith in God and pray for something good for us everyday. I am looking for some serious help, please email me if you can help or can give me a direction to go for that help. Thanks and God Bless.
P.S....I have already contacted my county agency for help, I missed the deadline because I wasn't aware they had begun the applications already. That is why I am here. Thanks.
