Hi I am a single mom of 4 kids. I am in desperate need of christmas help. I tried the www.mateerlabs.com/prestprogram.htm to fill out a application and its a dead end website. Please email me any info or help for me and my kids. My babies deserve Christmas, they have had a bad year. My ex-husband has decided to turn his back on them and has stopped child support. Ive tried going through the DA and that is a joke. He quit working and they will not do anything for me. My email is kathlenaalvz@yahoo.com. Thank you so much.

The Information Center
20500 Eureka  Suite 110
Taylor MI  48180
734-282-7171
Services Offered:
The Information Center, Inc. is able to help, with the generous support of our donors, through two avenues.
Adopt-A-Family: Donors are supplied with the first names and the "wish list" of a local family.  The donors purchase gifts for the family and deliver them to TIC offices, where they are then distributed to the families.  This is the most rewarding way to support a family in need of a "hand-up" at the holidays.
Gift Certificates/Cash Donations:  Some donors prefer to purchase gift certificates to help a individual
or family meet a special need, or make a cash donation to The Center, who in turn, purchases gift certificates or gifts for individuals and families. The Center's trained staff thoroughly interviews each client to verify their need for help before distributing any form of assistance.  We also meet regularly
with other agencies to assure that there is no duplication of services.  If you are interested in helping
a local resident OR need assistance, please contact our office for more information.
Assistance is limited, so please contact us early if you require assistance for your family.

My husband and i have four children and are looking for some help with clothes and gifts for Christmas. About 10 months ago my youngest son Had to have surgery to remove a tumor and his left kidney. he was in the hospital for about 1 month. My husband works in construction and right now it is a slow business. I did home child care but had to quit when my child was hospitalized. His tumor was not found to be cancer, but was a type that is known to return. so due to all the added appointments i have been unable to open my childcare back up at this point. All we need is a little help getting through Christmas. if you believe you can help us I would like to say Thank You very much and God Bless.
